Chief Executive: Bob Hay

Bob has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the organisation and the effective implementation and delivery of the SRC’s strategic priorities and objectives. Bob works with the staff team in co-ordinating the development of the SRC’s services and supporting the elected student officers in working towards ensuring that the SRC is valued by its members and the University as an effective, responsible and accountable organisation.

Bob is responsible, along with the Sabbatical Officers, for the development of decision making and democratic structures within the organisation and for promoting the benefits of the organisation for students. He also has responsibility for supporting student representatives, facilitating the development and implementation of policy and ensuring the democratic structures of the SRC are working in line with the constitution, associated documents and relevant legislation.
