Meet the admin staff who make the SRC run like clockwork

Deputy Chief Executive : Gina Connor

Gina ensures the smooth running of the SRC general administration, financial administration and Information Services within the organisation. The Second-Hand Bookshop, and vending machines are all the other services that Gina looks after on a day to day basis. Gina is responsible for managing and preparing the SRC monthly and annual accounts and provides advice and support to the Executive and the Chief Executive on short and long term financial planning.

Gina is also the person to contact regarding any repairs or accidents within the building.

Senior Finance & Clubs Administrator:  Anne-Marie Connor

Anne-Marie is responsible for the day-to-day financial processes in the office. She helps council members with financial processing (e.g. purchase orders, cheque requisitions, petty cash and invoicing). She also works closely with the Deputy Chief Executive in preparing the month end management reports.

Anne-Marie also provides training and support to affiliated societies.

Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive: Louise Cameron /Paul Swinton

Day to day duties involve providing ongoing PA and administrative support to the four Sabbatical Officers, the Chief Executive and the members of the SRC Council such as committee and working group support. They also assist the Sabbs to manage SRC events such as Council dinner, VCS and the STA Awards. They are the first point of contact for members of Council and the Exec. They collate and distribute any paperwork relating to Council and Exec meetings. They also provide administrative support to Class Rep training.

Support Services Administrators: Rachael Swinton, Meg Card, Kit Russell

Working closely with clubs and societies on affiliations to the SRC, adding events, membership options and merchandise to the clubs page on the website. Supporting them with room bookings. minibus hires and grant applications. Providing admin support for Wellbeing workshops and HEAR .

Meg also helps coordinate all our Historical tour bookings.

The first point of contact for all telephone, email and in-person enquiries, our admin staff work at the Welcome Point. They will be happy to help with photocopying and binding enquiries as well as taking room bookings and minibus hire enquiries. They are also happy to source campus information on students' behalf for day-to-day enquiries.

The staff will also be happy to help with enquiries on how to use our Second-Hand Bookshop Marketplace, explaining the workings of our online marketplace where students can list books for sale, browse stock and check if their books are sold.
