LGBTQ+ History Month 2026: Science and Innovation

This February, the SRC invites you to join us as we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.

From pioneering researchers and scientists to activists who challenged barriers in medicine, education, and research, we’ll highlight the stories of LGBTQ+ individuals whose ideas and innovations have shaped the world we live in – including contributions rooted in Glasgow and beyond.

Flag Raising & Community Catch-Up (LGBTQ+ HM 2026): 2nd February noon - 1:30pm; Flag Raising at North Flagpole, Main Campus (Near Hunter Brothers Memorial); Community Catch-Up in the WeeG, Gilchrist PG Club; Join us for the annual LGBTQ+ flag raising ceremony to mark the beginning of LGBTQ+ History Month 2026.
