What people say about volunteering

It's just a really good way to kind of give back and feel good about yourself and also be a bit more, you know, a community player
I could see how much the children’s confidence in their own reading abilities had grown as the sessions went on; and that to me was one of the most fulfilling parts of the experience
I believe that volunteering is a great way to get to understand and connect to local people, local place and local initiatives
