To celebrate International Women’s Week at the University of Glasgow, the SRC and various clubs, societies and student bodies are putting on a range of fantastic events.

||A friendly, open chat on all things sexual health and birth control from the founder of the Lowdown, Alice Pelton, and your brilliant fellow students at Glasgow Students for Choice.
|Tuesday 9th March, 6pm
||GUMSA x AMINA: Creative Industries Panel and Premier
||A panel discussion featuring some exceptional Muslim women of colour who are pursuing filmmaking and living through the experience of promoting their creations, followed by a premier screening of their film, Hopscotch.

||Sexpression Glasgow: Consent Chat
||An open call chat proctored by the incredible team at Sexpression Glasgow to discuss consent, sexual pleasure, and identity at a University level.
|Thursday 11th March, 6pm
||Glasgow University Magazine: Virtual Gallery
||A day long gallery via Instagram! Creatives will be called out to send in photos of their work with a statement on how they have been inspired and how folks can support their work. On the day of the event, they’ll be spotlighted via our Instagram.
|Friday 12th March, 6pm
||Compassion and Mistake Making in Student Activism
||Compassionate Mistake Making in Student Activism will be a 2hr interactive workshop exploring the role of care and compassion in activism. During the session we’ll look at the difference between Task and Maintenance in organising, as well as discussing how to introduce the foundational principles of Abolitionism, Healing, and Restorative justice into student activism.
