At SWAC, we aim to run a variety of inclusive and accesible events that everyone can enjoy. We love to run arts and craft nights, book club, poetry nights, socials, guest lectures and more! All are themed around women and minorities from ancient cultures who are often overlooked.
Its time for history to be less about men! We love problematic women of the past and love defending their rights and wrongs even more.
No matter who you are, if you're interested in classics, ancient history, literature, art or even just really enjoy mythological retellings we are the society for you!
