The Pokemon League Society is dedicated to providing a space for both casual and competitive Pokemon play, in the mainline games, TCG (trading card game) and GO. Our aim is to teach competitive Pokemon to new players and to provide an environment where knowledge of the game is shared freely. Anyone is welcome to join regardless of skill level and dedication! Even if you have just played Pokemon once, or just watched videos about it, you are encouraged to join!
We aim to host regular casual, competitive, and social events such as tournaments, trading events, socials, shiny hunting events, etc. So there will be something for everyone!
The magic of Pokemon is for everybody, not just for those who can afford a switch or hundreds of cards. Though we are a new society, we aim to raise the funds to provide society owned games to borrow, consoles to use, and card decks to borrow.
The associate membership is open to everyone, including non-students from outside the university and also to staff. All students should choose the standard membership.
