About

We are a society for Theology and Religious Education students. We aim to create spaces and events for students of the department, and outside it, to socialise and talk about their interests.

We run events and provide a space for students to seek support and build friendships. We are first and foremost a community and a family.

We are lucky enough to call the TRS Common room our home and we strive to make that space as welcoming and inviting as possible.

Our goal is to create a space where people can socialise, build relationships and share their interests.

As an academic society we aim to host talks and other events which pertain to Theology and Religious Studies but we want to do so with a particular focus on student engament, particularly undergraduate, we want to open up academic discussions to those that may be otherwise excluded.

Our priviliged relationship with the department's staff allows us to build bridges between faculty and students, demystifying the figures of lecturerers and allowing for dialague between students at all level with their staff, in order to foster an environment in which all voices are heard and valued.
