GUMSA holds a very special place at the University. Since its inception, 55 years ago, GUMSA has maintained its status as one of the most influential student societies in Glasgow and across Scotland. Our aim, as it always has been, is to improve Muslim student life on campus in all aspects.
As the voice for Islam on campus, it is our responsibility to ensure we fulfill the needs of Muslim students. Whether that be academic, social or spiritual, we serve as the bridge between the University and its large Muslim population.We host a variety of events throughout the year, from our exhilarating and jam-packed Freshers’ Week to revision lectures near exam periods.
