About

Glasgow Anaesthetics and Critical Care Society (GACCS) is a student-run society whose aim is to educate and inform medical students at our university and beyond about Anaesthetics and Critical Care.

Every year, we run a variety of events and revision sessions for medical students. We also hold an annual conference, which is currently the only undergraduate anaesthetics and critical care conference in Scotland, which attracts medical students from across the UK. Specialists in various fields of Anaesthetics and Critical Care are invited to speak at the conference, and we run clinical skills sessions led by clinicians, as well as provide an opportunity for poster presentations of research by students.
