About

This society is for all those who have an interest in the Francophone world and want to connect to other like minded people.

Bienvenue!

We are the Glasgow University Francophone Society, a playful and welcoming corner on campus for native French speakers and learners of all levels alike.

We celebrate Francophone cultures from nations across the globe and meet weekly for language practice, cultural explorations, and good company!

Our calendar features diverse events to ensure a little something for everyone. From our annual favourites such as potlucks, ceilidhs, and Wine and Cheese Nights, along with our more casual get-togethers like conversation and games nights, you’ll be sure to discover and explore the warm and rich tapestry that is the Francophone world.

Whether you’re a returning member or a new student, you’ll be greeted with open arms! All events are posted on our social media - follow us to stay in the loop and join us for a fun, vibrant year of conversations, culture, and community with new friends!
