Have you ever wanted to dance like people on strictly? Here's your chance!

Glasgow University Ballroom and Latin Dancing Society is open for all who wish to learn Ballroom and Latin dance. We teach 4 main dances which are rotated every week: Cha-Cha, Jive, Waltz and Quickstep, as well as other workshops and special dances. Our classes run twice a week on a Monday and Wednesday. We have two beginner classes, one novice one advanced class. We also have open practice spaces available before our Wednesday class and on a Sunday between 1 and 3pm!

For those of you who are interested, we have a dancesport team who travel to competitions on the university circuit, no previous dance experience is required to compete so please don’t be scared as we always have good fun and you won’t be alone!

We enjoy having fun outside of classes and this year we have lots of socials planned! We will be having regular pub nights after class, trips to Latin club Mango, tea dances, semesterly balls and lots more.
