About

As a student pro-choice group, Glasgow Students for Choice aim to create a safe environment for the discussion of sexual and reproductive rights whilst challenging behaviour that encourages the stigmatisation of sexual and reproductive healthcare.

Glasgow Students for Choice is a safe place to discuss issues surrounding abortion, pregnancy and sex (including STIs and consent). We also have strong links to feminist and activist organisations, working closely with them to make both campus and the wider world open to pro-choice discussions. Pro-choice issues effect everyone regardless of religion, gender or sexuality – we believe that through open and intersectional discussion we can break down the stigma that surrounds abortion.

Our Aims:

ADVOCATE: raise awareness on pro-choice issues at the University of Glasgow and beyond that

EDUCATE: publish educational content and events in order to keep the student body informed

SOCIALISE: create a welcoming and inclusive society and safe space for students to make life-long friends and connections.
