About

The Psychology Society aims to provide both social and academic opportunities to students from all years.

The Psychology Society welcomes anyone who is studying or is interested in Psychology. Our main aim is to raise awareness about important psychology related issues by holding events and talks. We also organise lots of social events throughout the year which is a great way to meet other people on your course. Our most popular events are the annual Subcrawl and the themed Psychology Ball. Like our Facebook page (Glasgow University Psychology Society) or follow us on Twitter (@GUPsychSoc) for regular updates on our events and for information about how you can get more involved in your society!

You don't need to pay for membership to come to our events.

Most of our events are open to anyone and everyone (even non-psych students), we try to make our events as accessible and affordable as possible.

There will be some events that are member only and other more popular events (like our annual conference or gala) that members get discounts and priority tickets for.

Also important to note: to become a committee member you need to pay for membership.
