Welcome to UofG Philosophy Society, the place where answers really can be found at the bottom of a glass.
We have bi-weekly themed events where the great and good of the philosophy world give insightful talks on the most puzzling of life’s questions, and have titanic debates on issues that have divided history’s great minds, and continue to divide those who teeter on their shoulders. Then we drink pints. Everyone is welcome: you don't need to be a philosophy student, just bring your thinking cap.
