The Japanese Society at the University of Glasgow was set up in 1997.
We run regular events such as language workshops, sushi parties, movie nights, pub nights, karaoke and cultural events. Details of our forthcoming events will be posted on our Facebook group and website. We are open to Japanese and non-Japanese with the hope that through our events and meeting new people, the society will help you to understand and enjoy Japanese culture.
Membership of the society is open to everyone (student/staff/public) and is £3 per year, which gives you discount entry to events. To join, just come along to the next society event.
The society also runs a mailing list, which sends out the latest information and reminders of events. If you want to be added to this list, please let us know.
