DanceMania

We’re Glasgow University DanceMania – a friendly, inclusive society which offers both recreational and competitive dance classes. Our main priority is to get you all dancing, having fun and making friends. We ask for no permanent commitment and never take ourselves too seriously.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we offer a variety of different dance styles. From ballet to highland, tap to commercial, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’ve danced your whole life or have two left feet, we have classes that cater to all abilities/experience levels. In addition to our 8 regular classes, we are proud to announce we have two competitive teams representing GUDM this season. Also, at GUDM we don’t restrict how many classes you attend, and we will never make you audition!

If you think you'd like to join GUDM, you can buy membership at any point in the year! These are the membership options we have available:

£10 Standard membership - for UofG students

£10 Associate membership - for non-UofG students

Our classes begin in September and run through to March, before finishing up with our annual show which is created, fundraised, produced and choreographed by GUDM members. 

Our socials happen throughout the year and are fun for people who drink and people who don't! We have the famous Glasgow sub-crawl as well as themed socials, bingo, games night and fundraising events such as bake sales and quiz nights.
