Glasgow University Christian Union exists to give every student on our campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Glasgow University Christian Union is a really exciting student mission team made up of all kinds of people from lots of different churches, and we exist to give every student on campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to live out this mission, we put on lots of different meetings and events each week and throughout the year.
An average week at GUCU starts with our Monday morning prayer meeting, where we gather together to lift our mission and our campus to God in prayer. Next, our International Café meets 4pm - 6pm in the GUU each Monday. On Tuesdays at 5.45pm we have Equip which is our main weekly meeting. At this we spend time in prayer and praise as well as hearing from a guest speaker each week. We also have CU Football each Thursday night, and our Impact Groups which meet throughout each week. If you want to know more about all these things we do and why we do them, you can find that on our website.
All our activities are open to students of all faiths and none, so if you want to come along, message our instagram page or send us an email, we'd love to welcome you!
As a CU we also run lots of evening and lunch time events throughout the year. Here, we invite guest speakers along to tackle some of life’s big questions, as well as making space to discuss the Christian Faith with anyone who wants to. Our events are open to everyone, no matter where you’re from or what you think about the Christian Faith. We’d love you to come along and have a chat!
