The Pluralistic Economics Academia Society (PEAS) endeavours to create a community for all those interested in the applications of academic economics!
We seek to bridge the gap between theoretical economics and its real-world applications. As such, we take an interest in matters which affect us — exploring how theory connects to issues such as the 2026 Commonwealth Games, inequality, and sustainability.
We aim to host conferences, smaller events, and publish an annual journal. We will provide a platform for students to publish research, develop academic skills, and engage with professionals and academics.
Members gain valuable networking opportunities, and an insight into diverse career paths, as well as opportunities to develop their academic portfolio and skills.
