Dental Academia Society

GUDAS welcomes all dental students to join the university’s first affiliated society dedicated to dentistry.

Our mission is to facilitate networking and enhance the education of dental students here at the University of Glasgow (UofG).

• We aim to deliver lectures for BDS 1-3 in line with latest clinical guidelines.

• Host workshops and practical sessions in collaboration with partners to expose dental students to new practical skills and enhance existing ones.

• Deliver mock practical and theory examinations to help dental students familiarise themselves with the exam environment.

• To provide a platform for specialist and expert speakers to deliver high-value talks to UofG dental students.

• To keep dental students informed of the latest developments in dental research and expose them to innovation within the field.

• Encourage and support UofG dental students to compete in national academic and clinical competitions.
