About the Society: The first-ever Uzbek Society at the University of Glasgow — a lively student community uniting Uzbek students, friends of Uzbekistan, and anyone interested in Central Asian culture and connection.
Our Purpose: To build a warm, supportive environment where students form genuine friendships, support one another academically and socially, and feel at home while studying abroad.
Our Activities: Social gatherings, academic talks, study sessions, networking events, traditional food meet-ups, language exchange, group trips, and weekly running sessions across Glasgow — combining culture, wellbeing, learning, and fun.
Open to All: No background or prior knowledge needed — just curiosity, respect, and a willingness to connect, stay active, and learn together.
