The Dead Poet’s Society holds weekly events including period drama screenings, coffee house meet-ups and themed dinner parties.

The Society targets students who enjoy history, art, period dramas, food, Agatha Christie Novels, and café culture. The Society is dedicated towards creating opportunities for non-drinkers to socialise and become involved in student life. As an honorary Dead Poet, you can look forward to …

Black Tie Banquets: Agatha Christie style dinner parties with tarot cards and murder mysteries where rival tables can compete for a prize. The event will be held between the hours of 1-5pm to allow students to commute or walk home safely.

Period Drama Screenings: From Anna Karenina to the Dead Poet’s Society, free movie screenings will be held regularly throughout the academic year

Coffee House Sessions: Frequent meetups to coffee houses in the West End and city centre to make friends, read, draw, or bathe in café culture.

Book Swaps: This ones pretty self-explanatory, but of course here at dead poets we quite enjoy feeding our guests with baked goods while we’re at it.
