Hello there everyone and welcome to the U of G Scottish Literature Society 2022/23.
My name is Geraldine, and I am your President for this academic year. We have so much planned for this year, and now that we appear to have got over our initial IT hitches, we will be sharing our events very soon.
We will be setting up links on our Event pages for our Book, A Bevvy and a Blether evenings, a literary day trip to Edinburgh, our brand new Study Buddy sessions for those studying Scottish Literature at U of G and so much more so please keep your eye on our website.
Our U of G student members can also become a Book Reviewer. Just drop us an email and we’ll add you to our list. It can be fiction, non-fiction, academic or even a children’s book, our only stipulation is that it must be Scottish Literature related and be between 800 to 1200 long. It is a great way to practice your critical and close reading skills and for our Committee to hone their own “editorial” skills.
