Our common room in the basement of No. 04 Professor Square is now open and welcoming all students that are looking for a break in between lectures or a place where to heat up their lunch.
The TRS Community, together with the TRS department is extremely pleased to announce that after some renovations the common room in the basement of No. 04 the Square is now open for use. There will be some slight tlc going on during the next couple of weeks but the room is now open and ready for use.
In the common room you will find our lovely kitchen, furnished with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. Also now our kitchen is furnished with a continous tap of boiling hot water which allows all of you to make a hot cup of tea on the fly, without having to faff about with a kettle. Tea bags and instant coffee are provided by the TRS Community and so are cups and mugs (you can find the tea and coffee on the window sill next to the kitchen and the cups and mugs as well as glasses in the cubbards). Access to the tea and cups is free however, we ask, if you can, to kindly make a donation to the honesty box every now and then just so that we might be able to keep rebuying the materials. Also please wash up the glasses and cups that you have used as to leave them ready for other people.
Sadly the study room next door is not completely finished as there is some major tidying up that still needs to be done. However, the room is not locked and the computers are on so if you need to access the study room you are free to do it but it is not going to be a pretty sight at the moment sadly.
