Hello everyone!!!
This weekend we're heading to Pollok Country park in search of some Highland cows and treaures within the Burrell collection - hopefully excellent photographic subjects.
Meet us at Shawmuir Lodge at 2pm this Saturday 7th February (find more details on getting to this location below). We will then take a wander around the park and through to the Burrell collection.
We will have live updates via our instagram (@guphotosociety), and through our Whattsapp group too.
Just bring your camera and your creativity.

LOCATION: Shawmuir Lodge, Pollok Park - this is the gated entrance on the East side of the park, set just back from the road.

Travelling from Glasgow city centre go to:
- Cristian street bus stop accesible by taking the 57 (to Silverburn Bus Station), 57A (to Kennishead) or the 3 (to Neilston). The bus stop is just next to the park.
- Pollokshaw West train station which runs a train to and from Glasgow Central.
From either the bus stop or the train station, head under the arched entrance and follow the path (there is a road that splits over to the right ignore this road). The path will lead to the lodge and should be about a 5 minute walk.
