If you submit the form, you have a space on the walk. If the form is no longer accepting responses then the walk is full.
Transport: We plan to meet at 7:00am in Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station to catch the 7:15am Ember bus to Pitlochry. We plan to take the 17:29pm Ember bus back, arriving back in Glasgow by 19:15pm (there are later Citylink/Ember buses as a fallback).
The Route: The route is 13.5km / 8.5 miles including the walk from Pitlochry to the start of the route. It has 730m ascent to a final elevation of 840m. The route is mostly path/stone steps and includes some steep sections. You can find further details here.
Weather and Kit: As always, we require walking boots to attend this event. We also require waterproofs, warm layers (strongly suggest bringing a hat and gloves), plenty of food and water, and any personal medications (inhalers etc.). Weather reports suggest rain/snow and temperatures below 0' at the peak, please plan accordingly.
