This event is part of our early year showcase, highlighting the more challenging hikes our society has to offer. It is aimed at those who already have some experience with hiking or hillwalking and who feel confident in their fitness levels. Walking Society membership is not required to attend this event.
The route is 11km/6.5miles with 920m of ascent - in addition to the walk to and from the train station. Take a look here for more details!
We will be meeting at 08:05am in the large hall of Glasgow Queen Street Station. (Reminder: There are two main stations in Glasgow — Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street. Please make sure you go to the correct one.)
Outbound journey: 08:22am service from Glasgow Queen Street, arriving at Arrochar & Tarbet at 09:37am.
Return journey: Expected arrival back in Glasgow will range between 5:44pm and 9:25pm, depending on group pace.
