Join us on Thursday 20th November for Transgender Day of Remembrance for our candlelit memorial vigil, in collaboration with the Students' Representative Council (SRC), as we remember and commemorate lives lost due to transphobia.
The vigil will begin at 7pm in the Cloisters. We will supply electronic candles on the night (please do not bring your own wax candles as they are not permitted in this space).
Following our vigil, we will make our way over to the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club. Here, we will gather for some hot drinks and bakes (all nut-free, vegan and gluten free options will be availabel), supplied by SRC, and share speeches and poetry readings for attendees.
If you would like to read a poem or speech on the day you can sign up with the following link: https://forms.gle/SoTGXfaNFBxiqbCh8.
All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/.
