This event is open to all, members and non-members alike! GUHS is going to Dumbarton Castle, a medieval castle on a volcanic rock overlooking the Clyde. We'll meet up at 11am at Partick Station to take the 11:23 train to Dumbarton East, then walk 15 mins from the station to Dumbarton Castle.
Important info:
- A return train ticket from Partick to Dumbarton is £3.95 with a railcard, or £6.00 without. It's best to buy on the ScotRail app to avoid the ticket machine queue.
- Castle entry must be booked by attendees in advance: £1 for Young Scot Card holders, or £7.50 for everyone else.

- Please be well-dressed for the coastal Scottish winter weather! Waterproofs and warm layers are highly recommended.
