Overview

Thursday 12th March is the next meeting of our open discussion group where we think critically together about whether there’s enough evidence to make Christian faith reasonable. This week we'll be thinking about the resurrection of Jesus, investigating the 1st-century historical evidence, and weighing up the resurrection against other ways of explaining the evidence. We'll be looking particularly at the "Minimal Facts".

We emphasise discussion and critical engagement on some of life’s biggest questions, so we’re open to all who wish to explore and test the evidence. Challenging questions are encouraged!

Every two weeks over the semester, we’ll weigh up the evidence for a creator, and the historical evidence supporting the Bible - particularly the narrative of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
