Thursday 12th February is the next meeting of our discussion group where we think critically together about whether there’s enough evidence to make Christian faith reasonable. This week we'll be thinking about the reliability of the transmission of the Biblical text from ancient times to the present day, looking at the manuscript evidence and discussing what we make of it.
Every two weeks over the semester, we’ll weigh up the evidence for a creator, and the historical evidence supporting the Bible - particularly the narrative of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We emphasise discussion and critical engagement on some of life’s biggest questions, so we’re open to all who wish to explore and test the evidence. Challenging questions are encouraged!
