Overview

Thursday 22nd January is the next meeting of our discussion group where we think critically together about whether there’s enough evidence to make Christian faith reasonable. This week we'll be thinking about God, human rights, and the significance of the Christian claim that humanity is "Made in the Image of God". We'll look at how this grounds the idea that humans have objective value, as well as discussing alternative views. Every two weeks over the semester, we’ll weigh up the evidence for a creator, and the historical evidence supporting the Bible - particularly the narrative of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We emphasise discussion and critical engagement on some of life’s biggest questions, so we’re open to all who wish to explore and test the evidence. Challenging questions are encouraged! Either come along on Thursday, or find out more by emailing us at cusecretary@gmail.com
