Overview

The AGM is where every committee role is up for election and a new committee will be elected by the society members for the 26/27 academic year. Firstly, before running for any position, you must read the GUDSS constitution (found in the form below). After doing so, you can fill out this form https://forms.gle/yzkFYrJfYtFjStrj8 to run for any role you want. Further information can be found in the application form.

 

We will be in JMS 530, however a teams link will also be available!

 

The following roles are available:

- Secretary 

- Treasurer 

- Welfare Officer

- Social Media Officer

- Mature Student Rep

- Mental Health Rep

- Learning disability/difference Rep

- Wheelchair/mobility aid Rep

- d/Deaf rep

- Visual impairment Rep

- Long term health condition Rep

- Neurodivergent Rep

- Physical Disability Rep

 

Voting will take place on Vevox (with a link shared on the day of voting) and we will elect roles in the order above. You will be given 3 minutes (applying for an executive role) or 2 minutes (applying for any other role) to say why you would be a good fit for the role.

 

If you prefer, you can request that a member of exec read your answers to the form out instead. You can also choose to run on the day as a last minute choice. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible there to help decide your new GUDSS committee!
