Overview

Please note to get a free ticket, you must sign up as a member of our society (this is 100% free!). We offer associate memberships for those who are not UofG students.

Are you a student with a disability and/or long term health condition? No diagnosis necessary! If so, join the GU Disabled Students' Society to decorate a tote bag to celebrate Disability History Month 2025!

We have a range of adaptive equipment including increased width and tennis ball grip options, as well as EazyHolds(https://eazyhold.com/). We also have silicone sheets to stop the bag from sliding if you have limited mobility.

We are holding 3 sessions, but please only come to one, we want as many students to get the chance to come as possible!

The sessions will run

  • mon 1st dec 2-4pm
  • tues 2nd dec 5-8pm
  • thurs 4th dec 2-4pm

all will be held in the Wee G

The sessions are free but ticketed.

This event is supported by grant funding from the Students’ Representative Council, which aims to support and elevate student-led initiatives that create more inclusive, accessible, and engaging opportunities for the wider student community. We are very grateful for their support.

Please get in touch at disablestudents@src.gla.ac.uk if you have any questions or accessibility requirements
