Overview

Hi my loves 🦋 are you ready for the collaboration of the century?

In honour of Turner Syndrome Awareness Month, GU Fashion Revolution and the Turner Syndrome Support Society at UofG are teaming up to teach you all about the art of hemming!

Come join us in the Eco Hub from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday 5th of February and bring along a piece of clothing you need hemmed. Whether you’ve got a skirt, shorts, leggings, jeans or otherwise that’s just a tad too long for you, we’ve got you covered!

Hemming?

  • Shortening the length of pants, skirts or dresses

  • Hemming allows people with short stature to have clothes which fit properly!

The event will cover:

  • What is Turner Syndrome?

  • How to hem through hand-sewing

  • How to hem using the sewing machine

We are so, so excited for this event and hope to see you all there!

xoxo
