For our first event of the semester we will be hosting a watercolour painting evening on Tuesday 13th January in St Andrew’s 559B (Art Studio) from 6-8pm! We will be providing some materials but we encourage you to bring your own if you have any as our supplies are limited and it will be first come first served.
Additionally we will also be having our EGM at the event to elect our new Literature Secretary!
Lit Sec’s main role is our book club, it is their responsibility to pick the book and run the discussion event. As well as this Lit Sec will be involved in running other literature based events such as poetry nights or book launches. They will also help with the general running of the society like all other committee members. P.s. if you have an idea for what book you want us to read for this semester’s book club please be prepared to argue why you think that should be our next read for the EGM (but you don’t need to have read it yet)!
Our events will be moving to Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays from now on. Hope to see you there!
