On 15th September at 11am we are hosting All Party Politics; Speed Debating. Where you can team up with societies with similar views and challenge others you disagree with, over a wide range of political topics. All are welcome to engage and discuss. No political leaning or previous experience is required. Turn up with your ideas and opinions, ready to discuss and listen. Together, groups will be formed over various topics relating to each society, you choose which society you want to work with on that specific topic. A society may not out-right have one singular view, discussions internally will be needed to form a consensus. Once that consensus is formed, it is down to your group to debate the topic with others who may agree or disagree. You will only get 10 minutes per topic. But, don’t worry, you will always have a team around you to help develop our understanding and also challenge other views. This will be fast, there will be diverse views and ideas, but overall it will allow for engaging discussions.
