Join us for a celebration of creativity and heritage during Chinese Culture Week, hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and supported by the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club!
Day Two activities feature an interactive traditional Chinese culture workshop combining vegetarian dumpling-making, traditional games and handicrafts. For the dumpling-making activity, participants will learn how to prepare and wrap dumplings by hand. There will be no cooking of the dumplings in the WeeG. The activity will only involve cold assembly, and participants will take the finished dumplings away to cook themselves.
Alongside the dumpling-making activity, there will also be traditional Chinese games such as Touhu (arrow throwing) and a small display of Mahjong, as well as a limited number of traditional herbal sachet DIY activities.
