Celebrate Nowruz (Persian New Year) with the University of Glasgow Persian Society!
Join us for a warm and vibrant evening filled with Persian sweets (shirini), snacks, music, and cultural traditions as we welcome the arrival of spring together.
This event is a great opportunity to meet new people, experience Persian culture, and enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are familiar with Nowruz or discovering it for the first time, everyone is welcome! The celebration will take place at the Fraser Building (Level 3) from 6 PM to 9 PM, followed by an optional social gathering at a nearby pub.
