Glasgow Uni's Scottish Country Dance Society, Justice for Palestine Society and Salsa Society are teaming up for a dance orientated collab with a Ceilidh, Dabke Workshop and Bachata Taster!
The event will run with approx 40 minutes of ceilidh dancing with live music to start, followed by a workshop on Dabke- Palestinian Cultural Dance in political context, as well as a contextualised taster for Bachata. To round up we will have strip the Willow and Auld Lang Syne. All proceeds will be going to mutual aid projects in Palestine and boosting the Gaza40+ Students Funds. Tickets will be £5 with optional further donation.
