Step into a hands-on cultural journey at our Craft & Connect session during the International Festival!

This interactive workshop invites you to explore artistic traditions from around the world while connecting with fellow participants through creativity. 

Activities include: 

  • Mask Painting with the Peking Opera Society – Design and paint your own mask inspired by the colourful traditions of Chinese Peking Opera. 

  • Anyaman (Malaysian Weaving Art) – The Malaysian Society will guide you through this traditional weaving craft and its cultural significance. 

  • Ukrainian Egg Decorating (Pysanky) – Learn about the symbolic patterns behind this beautiful Ukrainian folk art and decorate wooden eggs.  

  • Scottish Celtic Coaster Craft – Explore traditional Scottish Celtic art using knotwork stencils and materials to create your own personalised coaster, with easy step-by-step guidance.
