Join Book Babes and the Students’ Representative Council for a cozy evening of bookish creativity for International Women’s Week!
Come along with friends or drop by on your own — low-pressure, friendly, and creative.
You’ll have a chance to:
- Re-Design a Book Cover: Give a book a new look by designing your own cover. Bring one you love or pick something from the Feminist Free Library in the McIntyre Building.
- Craft Bookmarks & Bookmark Charms: Make and decorate your own bookmarks and bookmark charms — keep them or gift them.
- Sweet Treats: Snacks will be available while you craft and chat! There will be vegan and gluten free options available.
- Playlist by Book Babes: We’ll have music playing to set the mood!

Accessibility
- This event will take place in the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club on the ground floor of the Main Building. The venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets. The accessible bathroom in the Gilchrist requires entrance through two manual doors. There is a guide to accessing the venue available via AccessAble.
