Overview

Join us for Turing’s Legacy: Codes, Ciphers & Cinema, an interactive and entertaining evening celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month through the life and work of Alan Turing and the world of codebreaking.

Test your problem-solving skills with a series of hands-on decoding challenges or get creative by designing and building your own cipher wheel to take home. Along the way, you’ll learn about Turing’s groundbreaking contributions to computing and cryptography, as well as his lasting impact on science and society.

The evening will also include a screening of a movie exploring Turing’s story, alongside themed refreshments of "Turing Tea" and "Cryptography Cupcakes."
