Overview

Join us at the North Flagpole on the Main Campus for our annual LGBTQ+ flag raising ceremony, marking the beginning of LGBTQ+ History Month 2026.

Following the ceremony, all attendees are warmly invited to stay for an informal social gathering with free tea and coffee available as an opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate together.

This year’s theme, “Science and Innovation,” celebrates the vital contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals in STEM fields and recognises the impact of science and innovation on our everyday lives. The theme also highlights the people behind these achievements, raising awareness of their work, experiences, and lasting influence across a wide range of disciplines.
