Overview

Join us for an out-of-this-world evening with SRC and Orbit, the student group putting hands-on space exploration into action!

Expect a night packed with astronaut ice cream and space-themed snacks, a mission briefing straight from the Orbit team on what they’re building and competing in this year, and a hands-on craft activity where you can design and build your own miniature planet

We’ll also be screening an acclaimed sci-fi film that focuses on a celebration of resilience, innovation, and the human spirit of exploration.

Before the film begins, Orbit members will share insights into their current mission and goals, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how students turn advanced science into real-world space projects. Orbit works on real satellite missions and space-related competitions, inspiring future careers in the space sector while helping fuel the growth of Scotland’s space industry.
