Step away from deadlines and screens and join the Zoological Society and the Students' Representative Council (SRC) for a relaxed de-stress afternoon in Kelvingrove Park and free hot drinks and festive treats in the Williams Room.
We’ll start by meeting up and heading out for a gentle walk through Kelvingrove (1 hour). During the walk, there’s an optional activity for anyone who’s interested in contributing to real-world research: tree surveying for GALLANT using the CommuniMap app.
After the walk, we’ll head indoors to the Williams Room for hot drinks, snacks, and some calming, low-key crafts. If the weather is poor, or if you’re not feeling up for the walk, you’re more than welcome to join us just for the indoor social portion.
Participation is completely optional, you’re welcome to just enjoy the walk and the fresh air if you prefer. A club committee member will also be on standby to accompany anyone back indoors if it becomes too cold or uncomfortable.
Dress for the weather, bring a phone if you’d like to take part in the tree surveying, and come along for an easy, friendly break from uni life.
