As part of Disability History Month, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and the Disabled Students’ Society invite you to a special film screening of I Swear (2025), followed by a student-led panel discussion.
I Swear is a moving biographical film based on the true story of Scottish campaigner John Davidson, who was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome as a teenager during a time when the condition was little known and widely misunderstood.
The screening will be followed by a panel of activists and academics, including actress Andrea Bisset who plays the character of "Lucy" in the film. Light snacks also will be provided on behalf of the SRC.
