Join us for a creative, hands-on puzzle art craft exploring the theme of hidden disabilities and the challenges and strengths that aren’t always visible on the surface.
In this relaxed art session hosted by the Students’ Representative Council and GU Arts Crafts Club, you’ll design and decorate your own personal jigsaw puzzle, with each piece representing a different part of your identity. Some pieces might reflect the sides of yourself that others easily see, while others can express what’s felt, experienced, or understood only by you.
Why come along:
-
Relax during the exam destress period with a mindful, creative activity
-
Reflect on identity and self-expression in a supportive space with fellow students
-
Take home a unique, meaningful artwork you made yourself
All supplies provided. Paintbrush foam grips provided for easier handling and accessibility. There will also be free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate at the event. At the end, you’ll be able to take home a completed puzzle!
