Overview

Do you know which country holds the record for the most Eurovision wins? Can you name all the albums by American pop icon Taylor Swift? Whether your strengths are in world history, music, geography, or random fun facts, this International Quiz is your chance to shine! 

  • Join fellow students from across the globe for a friendly afternoon of trivia that will test your global knowledge and introduce you to new people from the University of Glasgow community. Everyone is welcome. No team? No problem! We’ll match you up so you can meet new friends. 

  • Meet members of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) at the University of Glasgow. This society runs events, projects and campaigns to support cultural exchange and promote mobility throughout the year.

  • Before the quiz starts, add a pin to our World Map to show where you’re from, and grab a pre-filled postcard with words of encouragement from fellow students to motivate you for the year ahead.

  • 🏆 Scottish-themed prizes are up for grabs! 

  

Tickets 

  • This event is not ticketed. If we reach capacity, a “one in, one out” system will be in place. 

  • This is a collaborative event between the SRC and Erasmus Student Network (ESN). You do not have to be a member of ESN to join the event. 

 

Accessibility 

  • This event will take place in the Kelvin Gallery on the 4th floor of the Gilbert Scott Building: there is a guide to accessing the venue available via AccessAble including a specific guide on the lifts and their specifications. 

  • Please let us know if you have any specific access requirements so we can make necessary arrangements, contact events@src.gla.ac.uk ahead of the event with access requirements.
