GUSRC are recruiting a:

Research & Insight Lead  

(6 months p/t) 

 

  • Contract: Fixed term – 6 Months 
  • Location: Hybrid – GUSRC Offices / Remote 
  • Salary:  £ 27,319 p/a – (pro-rata p/t  0.5 FTE, 6 months)  
  • Reports to: Chief Executive 

 

About the Role 

The postholder will deliver two key projects aimed at enhancing the student experience across diverse cohorts 

  1. Transnational Education (TNE) Support & Representation 

    Exploring the independent academic support, advocacy and representation needs of students enrolled in University of Glasgow TNE programmes — particularly those based in China — and assess how these compare to services available to Scotland based students. Your work will help identify gaps and propose solutions to ensure parity of experience and access to independent advice and advocacy. 
     
  2. Clubs & Societies Space Requirements 

    Exploring the barriers student groups face when accessing suitable rooms and facilities across the University estate, identify inconsistencies in practise and approach and culture.  Develop recommendations to improve transparency, fairness, and accessibility. 


Support & Supervision 

You will report to the Chief Executive and receive supervisory support from the Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Advice.
